From Single Disc to Complete Screen Pack
ANPING RUIBEI METAL MESH FACTORY has expanded its extruder screen pack division to more than 116 references, covering single discs, multi-layer packs, herringbone support screens and aluminium or mild steel carrier rings. Screen packs are assembled to the pressure and filtration profile of each extrusion line, so that a recycler running contaminated feedstock can change the pack without changing the machine.
A typical pack stacks several mesh layers of decreasing aperture over a rigid support plate. The coarse upstream layer captures large contaminants, the fine downstream layer determines final filtration, and the support layer prevents rupture under pressure. Getting the combination right extends screen life and protects the breaker plate, screw and die.

Advantages for Processors
- Graded filtration — layered apertures stop large particles before they reach the fine layer, avoiding premature blinding.
- Pressure stability — the support layer keeps the fine mesh flat, so pressure differential rises predictably and screen changes are planned rather than reactive.
- Material flexibility — mild steel, galvanised and stainless options allow buyers to match cost to duty cycle.
- Reduced downtime — pre-assembled packs can be swapped in seconds during a screen change.
- Consistent repeat orders — pack drawings are retained, so reordering the same construction is straightforward.
Typical Installations
Plastic recycling and regranulation lines, blown film and cast film extrusion, sheet and profile extrusion, pipe extrusion, masterbatch production, cable compounding and rubber extrusion. Herringbone and reverse Dutch constructions are particularly valued where very high differential pressure must be carried without mechanical failure.
Building a Pack That Fits Your Line
Buyers are asked for the extruder make and model, screen diameter, target micron rating, percentage of regrind in the feed and normal operating pressure. From this information the factory proposes a layer stack, support ring material and edge finish, then supplies a drawing for approval before production.
Trial packs ship quickly, and full production orders can be consolidated with single-layer filter screens from the extruder filter screen range, giving processors one supplier for the entire filtration consumable list.
